Born in Salisbury, he was a son of the late B. Frank and Eva Taylor Parsons. His wife was the late Anna Maria Banks Parsons.
Parsons was a member of the USTA Standardbred Racing Association for 40 years. He was a retired owner of B. Frank Parsons Auto Shop in Salisbury.
He is survived by a daughter, Joann P. Williams (Jack) of Salisbury; a son, M. Frank Parsons Jr. (Pauline) of Salisbury; grandchildren; Lori Nichols of Delmar, Frank Parsons, Lynn Parsons, Debbie Taylor, Terri Murrell and Mark Williams all of Salisbury; great-grandchildren, Robbie and Crystal Nichols of Delmar, Kristin and Tyler Murrell of Salisbury, Shaun and Trevor Taylor of Salisbury and Michael, Sarah and Emily Williams of Salisbury; and one sister, Charlotte Spory (Jack) of Clark's Summit, PA.
A brother, Richard L. Parsons, is deceased.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury, where friends may call one hour before the funeral. Interment will be n Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
