Kenneth E. Boyd, 88, Tulsa resident, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Tulsa. He was born December 1, 1923 to Myrtle (Gilliam) and Ira Boyd in Stoutland, MO. Ken retired from American Airlines as Avionics Technician, member of Moose Lodge 862 with Pilgrim Degree, American Legion Post 308 and Disabled American Veterans. He received a Purple Heart and 3 Bronze Stars during WWII and Korean Conflict. Ken was a loving father, volunteer, patriotic and still in love with Marjorie. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marjorie Boyd. * Visitation 5-7 PM, Wednesday, January 18 and funeral service 10 AM, Thursday, January 19, 2012, both at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel with military honors at Green Hill Cemetery in Sapulpa, OK.
