MUNCIE--Helen J. Frazee, 74, Muncie, died Friday, June 20, 2003 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born April 5, 1929 in New Castle, Ind., the daughter of the late Glen and Alice Sanderson.
She retired in 1992 from Wertz Novelty after 16 years of service as a stamping machine operator. She was a member of the Northside Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Edwin L. Frazee, Sr.; a stepson, Edwin L. Frazee Jr. (wife-Marcia); a stepdaughter, Ruth King (husband-Arthur Gail), Muncie; her stepmother, Frances Sanderson, New Castle; a sister, Mabel Peacock, Milton, Fla.; three nieces, Jacelaine Sullivan, Jerri Ann Lay and Billie Lee Coon, all of Milton, Fla.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Timothy Glen Shock; and a brother, Ralph Sanderson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at the Northside Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. JoAnn Waldreth officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2003 at the mortuary and an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
