Harlan Bentz was a real estate broker and co founder of Ennis and Bentz Realty in Porterville, California. Born at Fremont, he graduated from Norfolk High School and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He had resided the past 20 years at Porterville, Calif., where he had been a charter member and first president of Trinity Lutheran and was serving as vice president at the time of his death. In June, a new educational wing at the church was dedicated to him.
He was a past president of the Exchange Club, a member of the Orange Belt Board of Realtors, a past director of the California Association of Realtors, a director of Porterville Chamber of Commerce and past member of the Tulare County Grand Jury.
