Christine Abercrombie Rogers, 91, of Laurel, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Laurel. Dr. Randy Turner will officiate.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Laurel and the Bethany Sunday school class.
Mrs. Rogers was born in Covington County, MS, the daughter of Ike Abercrombie and Amanda Sanford Abercrombie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cade Bethea Rogers, and brothers, Hubert Abercrombie and Tom Abercrombie.
Survivors include her sisters and brothers, Berniece Jones, Hester Quick, Rachel Knight, Hardy Abercrombie, and Jimmy Abercrombie; children, Tommy Cade Rogers and wife, Brenda, Bruce Bethea Rogers and wife, Mary Ann, and Diane Rogers Parish and husband, Gerald; grandchildren, Carrie Rogers Burks and husband, Scott, Melissa Rogers Mitchell and husband, Britt, Alicia Rogers Teepell and husband, Tommy, Brian Cade Rogers and wife, Angelyn, Casey Bruce Rogers and wife, Ashley, Emily Rogers Ulrich and husband, Glen, Andrew Garrett Rogers, Jason Gerald Parish and wife, Sherrie, Eric William Parish and wife, Laura, and Kyle Bethea Parish and wife, Kathy; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
