Naomi Meador, 82, of Lafayette, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tennessee. The Macon County, Tennessee native was born Tuesday, March 13, 1923, a daughter of the late Hicie E. Law and Tessie M. Napier Law. She was a member of Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church and a retired employee of Formfit-Rogers. On January 15, 1949 she was united in marriage to William P. Meador. She is survived by her husband, William P. "Bill" Meador, Lafayette, TN; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Mike Scruggs, Murfreesboro, TN; 2 sisters, Rulene Cothron, Lafayette, TN; and Helen Doss, Indianapolis, IN; 2 grandchildren, Christy Donnell and Jeffery Scruggs; a great-grandchild, Micky Donnell; 2 special nieces and their husbands, Dana and Tim Harp, Paulette and Paul Stafford; a nephew, several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services for Naomi Meador were conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, October 24, 2005 at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Eld. J. B. Shoulders officiating. Burial was in Macon County Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Tim Harp, Justin Harp, Paul Stafford, Jeffery Scruggs, Gary Law, and Tommy Law. Honorary pallbearer was Ronnie Stafford.
