Rite Conducted For Mrs.Bracey At Magees Creek
Funeral services for Mrs.Mollie Sauls Bracey,80,were conducted from
the Maggee'sCreek Baptist Church on Thursday ,Jan,23,with the Pastor
of that church officiating.
Mrs.Bracey,a native of Marion county.was the daughter of the late
Mr.and Mrs.Isaac [Ike] Sauls.
She was a member of the Magee's Creek Church,in early Womanhood was
united in marriage with J.M.[Mack]Bracey,who preceded her in death in
1924.After that time she made her home with a daughter,Mrs.E.R.
Turner,of Barwick,Ga,where she passed away on Jan.21.
Interment was in the Darbun Cemetery with grandsons of the deceased
acting as Pallbearers,Herman and Mack Rowley,Harrison Bracey,
Bob Bracey, Avon Earl Bracey,Wayne Bracey.
Surviving are two daughters,Mrs.E.R.Turner of Barwick,Ga,and
Mrs.O.T.Hathorn of Hathorn,two sons,M.C.Bracey and Johnnie Bracey ,
both of Darbun;two brothers Tib Sauls and Marshall Sauls,
and one sister,Mrs.Nora Bracey.A daughter,Mrs.Lela B.Rowley.precceded
her mother in death by only a few months.
