Jerry Marshall Montgomery passed away on January 11, 2012 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was born November 27, 1933 to Raymond and Marie Montgomery in Gerty, Oklahoma. Jerry married Louise Kidwell on November 16, 1953 in Ada, Oklahoma. Jerry enlisted in the Oklahoma National Guard in 1950 then later served in the United States Army and the United States Air Force. He worked as Directors of Purchasing for thirty-five years at Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. Jerry served on the Oklahoma Association of Purchasing Directors, Hughes County EMS Board, Rural Water District #6 Board, Calvin School Board and the River Valley Round-up Club. Jerry enjoyed ranching, drawing and working on his farm. He was a long time member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Non, Oklahoma. Jerry often was found serving as announcer for rodeos in the area. Jerry is survived by his wife, Louise of the home, children Jerry Lynn Montgomery and wife Vicki, Billings, Montana, Royce Montgomery, Calvin, Lori Harrington and husband Robbie, Allen. Brothers Roger Montgomery and wife Joy, Melvern, Kan., Roy Montgomery and wife Marcella, Wilsonville, Ore.; and Larry Montgomery and wife Sammie, Checotah. Grandchildren Denessa Montgomery, Marshall Harrington and wife Nissa, Beth Nemecek and husband Andrew and one great grandchild Skylar Montgomery. Services are scheduled for 2pm Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Free Will Baptist Church at Non, Oklahoma. Rev. Bart Patterson and Rev. Jim Lawrence will be officiating. Burial will follow at Non Cemetery. Pallbearers will Marshall Harrington, Andrew Nemecek, Kenny Nickels, Hunter Nickels, Otto Harrington, David Hodges. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Joe Tollett and Jack Russell.
