BENDER, Robert "Rob" Robert Wayne "Rob" Bender of Kitchener went to his eternal rest on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at KW Grand River Hospital, in his 46th year. He will be sadly missed by his parents, Harold and Audrey (Gerber) Bender; his brother, Todd Bender and sister-in-law, Jeanette. Cherished uncle to nieces and nephews, Dathan, Michaiah, Drystan, Fayth, Miryam and Graycelyn Bender: nephew and cousin to several uncles, aunts and their families. Predeceased by his nephew Aaron Timothy Bender. Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A graveside committal service will be held at the East Zorra Mennonite Cemetery, 16th line, on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. which will be followed by a service in the East Zorra Mennonite Church, 16th line, at 3 p.m. Pastor Ray Martin will officiate. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kitchener House of Friendship or the Food Bank of Waterloo Region would be appreciated and may be made through the Francis Funeral Home by calling 1-519-655-2431.
