Mrs. Mulkey was born September 14, 1932, in McGuffy, Ohio, to Floyd and Nellie (Perkins) Cole.
She married Vernon Mulkey August 18, 1972, in Partello.
Mrs. Mulkey lived in Albion the past 10 years.
She was a member of the Grace Free Will Baptist Church.
She volunteered at the Good Will and Albion Nursing Home.
She was a peacemaker, leading onward for the Lord and a great witness. She loved to cook, garden, sing gospel music, and she collected dolls and teddy bears.
In addition to her husband, survivors include six children, Daryl Burkwalt , Diane (Burkwalt) Moore , Sherry (Lawrence) Jones , Terry (Carl) Allen , Roseda (Chad) Gray , and Kenneth Mulkey ; three stepchildren, Kay (Charles) Rochester , Pamela Smith and Vernon (Kristen) Mulkey, Jr. ; seven grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; three brothers, Ralph Cole and John Cole, , and Arthur Cole ; and five sisters, Grace Love , Myrtle Yates , Tressie Wriet , Carolyn Zesoski and Cora Lee Bailey .
She was preceded in death by her parents, a child, Baby Burkwalt, a sister, Kathleen Wallace, a brother, Ollie Clifford Cole and a sister, Wanda Arlene Conley.
Burial will be in Albion Memory Gardens.
