James M. Hoke, age 77 years, of Upper Paxton Township, died in the Harrisburg Hospital, December 28.
Mr. Hoke was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Hoke and was a native of Hubley Township, Schuylkill.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Rosa Ebright Hoke, two daughters, Mrs. Isaac Hoffman and Mrs. Percival Billman, and four sons, Herbert C., Charles, Oscar, and James Hoke Jr., all of Millersburg, and eleven grandchildren.
Services were held from the Riegle Funeral Home, Millersburg, at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. J. W. Emerick, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiated and interment was made in Oak Hill Cemetery.
