Robt. Lyon, of Tennessee township died at his home last week after a short sickness of pneumonia. He was born in Adair county, Kentucky, 1829; came to Illinois with his parents when six years of age, and settled in Tennessee township, where he lived the balance of his life. He was married in 1860 to Annie Sigars, a native of Carrol [sic] county, Indiana. He was the father of seven children, six of whom, with their mother, survive him. He was a most estimable man, a prominent member of the Methodist church.
