Chris Lund Dies Suddenly
Chris Lund of West South Street died this morning (Thursday) at six o'clock as the result of heart trouble. He had been ill for only a few days. Subject to heart trouble for a number of years, he was at least the victim of this vicious disease.

Deceased was born in Douglas County on September 27, 1878 and was reared to manhood in the vicinity of Calhoun. He was married to Marie Christensen (should read Maria Christiansen) and eight children are living: Mrs Ray Greenwood of Walkerville, Maryland; Art and Mathias Lund, Mrs J.C.Kerns, Mrs. John Mitchell and Sterling Lund, all of Craig; Howard in the army and Mrs. Cecil Patrick of Omaha.

For a time after his marriage, he farmed in this county but in 1918 he moved to Craig and his wife died the following year. He moved to Blair last September and purchased the old Belknap property on West South Street.

As yet, no arrangements have been made for the funeral.
