Farokh Alsafi, 28, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Dec. 25, 2008, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Alsafi was born on March 23, 1980, in Los Angeles, Calif., his parents are still living.
Farokh graduated from James Madison University in May of 2008 with a degree in Business Management and Computer Information Systems.
Following his graduation, he worked as a Business Systems Analyst for SNL Financial.
In addition to his parents, Farokh is survived by his fiancee, and their two precious dogs, Bibak and Muffin of Harrisonburg; and two brothers, both of Iran.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
A visitation will be held from 6 until 7 p.m. and following the service as well.
