He died January 9, 2012, peacefully at his home in Woodville, Texas after a long illness.
Beau was a 1968 graduate of Westbury High School in Houston, Texas. He attended the Baptist University in Houston where he was a Yell Leader. He also attended the University of Houston where he was voted the friendliest boy. He had been employed by Brown & Root and Enron.
Beau loved to travel, he loved music and he loved people. He loved his Heavenly Father and he was ready to see Him. To know Beau was to love Beau.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10:30am at the Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville. Officiating will be Brother Reagan Sewell and Father Michael Strother.
Burial will be in Campground Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Arthur, maternal grandparents, Ralph and Emma Hanks and paternal grandparents, Jet and Anna Arthur.
He is survived by his loving mother, Jean, who has always been by his side, special aunt, Ginger Hanks, special cousins, Robin Cathey and Martha Stitsinger, special friend, Thelma Druette, and a dear friend, Pam, numerous other beloved cousins and relatives and his new four-legged companion, Cord.
Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.~
