Verla Cozad Turner, 94, 2323 Duncan St., died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1988, at Easton, MO.
Mrs. Turner was born in Horton, Kan., and had lived in St. Joseph since 1900. She had been a bookkeeper and secretary for the former National Biscuit Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband John H. Turner on Sept. 29, 1957, and also by a son George Turner in 1987.
She was a member of the Huffman Memorial United Methodist Church, the WSCS Women's Society, and the Builder's Class, of the church.
