Clemons O. Reed, 63, of 4519 W. Central, retired carpenter, died Sunday.

He was born in Lost Cabin, Wyoming April 7, 1902. He was the son of Alva L. Reed and Viola Lola (Combs) Reed.

He married Myrtle L. Combs (Smith) and they lived in El Cajon, California for many years, where his children were born in and around San Diego. Survivors include three Stepchildren Don V. Combs; of Seattle, Wash.; Jerry Combs; of Wichita; Marilee Walters of El Cajon, Calif. Two sons Robert and Dale Reed of Wichita. Two daughters Carol J. Tom and Nancy K. Lee, both of Wichita.
Also survived by three brothers, Ora, and Frank of Thermopolis, Wyo.; three sisters; Mrs Thelma Mason; Mrs Fern Herbst, both of San Diego; and Mrs Edna Leder of Seattle, Wash.He was preceeded in death by his parents and sons Gary Errol Reed and Sgt. Loren D. Reed (Killed in action in Korea) Also two sisters Mrs Pearl Cooper and Miss Alice Glenn Reed.

He has 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Byrd-Snodgrass Funeral Home Downtown. Burial will be in Old Mission Cemetery.
