Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a retired residential builder.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Genice Starling; step-daughter, Dixie Starling of Joiner; brothers, Donald Wayne Starling and wife Paulette of Guntown, Mississippi and Larry Joe Starling and wife Dixie of Joiner; brother-in-law, Reeder Dean of Greenbrier; 15 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, William Thomas Starling, Jr. and George Quinten Starling and sisters, Wilma Jean Barnes and Mary Ann Dean.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Interment will follow in the Roosevelt Cemetery
