George Quinton Starling, 81, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at his home in Booneville.

He was Born January 4, 1929, to W.T. and Irma Starling in Mississippi County, Ark.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, Serving in Occupied Japan.

He was a Commercial and Residential Builder, Working in Several States.

He Moved Back to Booneville Six Years Ago after Living in Livingston, Texas, for 25 Years.

He was a Christian.

He Loved his Family, and he Enjoyed Working on his Old Tractor and VW Convertible, and Playing the Guitar.

Services will be at 11 A.M. today at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial with Military Honors will be in Booneville Cemetery.

He is survived by Two Daughters, Judy Morgan and Husband, Jimmy, of Booneville; and Janice Holland and Husband, Winford, of Pikeville, TN; Two Sons, Jerry Starling and Wife, Debra, of Booneville; and Danny Starling of Dacula, GA; Three Brothers, Bob Starling and Wife, Genice, of Judisonia, AR; Larry Starling and Wife, Dixie, of Joiner, AR; and Don Starling and Wife, Paulette, of Guntown; 11 Grandchildren, Scott Starling and Wife, Tiffany; Kandi Jackson and Husband, Casey; J.J. Holland and Wife, Shannon; Jamey Holland and Wife, Tina; Ginger Holland; Jonathan Holland; Christy Morgan; Joby Morgan and Wife, Tanya; Chad Starling and Wife, Christy; Courtney Starling and Cody Starling; and 24 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his First Wife, Lillian Cartwright Starling, in 1970; his Second Wife, Katharine Golden Starling, in 2005; his Parents; two Sisters, Jean Barnes and Ann Dean; and one Brother, Bill Starling.

Pallbearers will be his Grandsons.

Visitation will continue until Service time today at the Funeral Home.
