Harmon Foy Edenfield, 84 of Jesup, Ga. died Saturday, December 7, 2013 after an extended illness and under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.

The Wayne County, Ga. native was a member of Blanton Grove Church of God and attended Jesup Church of God. He was a retired Wayne County School bus driver and enjoyed farming and hunting with his dogs. He was known as "Bare Foot" and was a member of the Old Buck Hunting Club. His favorite pastime was spent with his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Grace Yarbrough Edenfield; his parents, Bill and Bessie Lewis Edenfield; several siblings, Acie Edenfield, W.J. Edenfield, Josh Edenfield, Sam Edenfield, Minnie Groover, Eudell Groover, Wilma Brown, Alverta Williams, Dorothy Bunton and Geneva Eason.

Survivors are his daughter and son-in-law, June and Stevie Morris of Jesup, Ga.; 3 sons and a daughter-in-law, Merle Edenfield, Allen Edenfield, Derek and Heather Edenfield, all of Jesup, Ga.; 4 grandchildren, Caleb Yarbrough, Asher Edenfield, Rilie and Ryan Edenfield and their mother, Brandi Bryant Edenfield; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday, December 9, 2013 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Jack Lee, Billie Ilee Floyd and Billy Tyre officiating. Interment will be in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ferrell Cooksey, Rodney Phillips, Kary Edenfield, Tom Groover, Jonathan Poppell and Bobby Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be his hunting friends and employees of Hospice of South Georgia.

Visitation will be 3 to 6 P.M. Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the funeral home.
