STATESBORO -- Roger Deal, 99, died Jan. 30 at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation . He was a lifelong resident of Bulloch County, a retired farmer and a member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church. He was the widower of Josephine Hendrix Deal.
SURVIVORS: a daughter, Eldora Barnes of Statesboro; two sons, Tommy Deal of Statesboro and James Elton Deal of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, J.K. Deal of Statesboro and Clarence Deal of Metter; 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Friday at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church, burial in the church cemetery.
