She was a native of Bulloch County and a member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Ruby L. Howard and Shirley A. Morris, both of Statesboro and Johnnie M. Young, Sylvania; one sister, Lizzie Motes, Portal; four brothers, Roger Deal, Rupert Deal and J.K. Deal, all of Statesboro and Clarence Deal, Metter; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Sammy Bryant officiating, assisted by Elder John Scott. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be Monday from 4 until 9 p.m. at Hodges-Turner Funeral Home.
