BODY TO TENNESSEE

WILLIAM L. DELK

William Lonzo Delk, 56, Kellogg man who drowned Sunday, lived in Kellogg since 1951.

He came to Kellogg from Jamestown, Tenn., where he was born and reared. The body is being returned there this afternoon and services have been tentatively set for Thursday afternoon at East Jamestown.

Mr. Delk was born to Joe and Haley Delk July 8, 1897, and married Minnie Sharp Dec. 20, 1920 at Pall Mall, Tenn. He was employed by the One Minute Washer company of Kellogg.

Survivors are his wife; one son, Joe, serving with the United States Army at Fort Eustis, Va.; his stepmother, Mrs. Mary Delk of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Molly Stepp of Kellogg, and Mrs. Lucy Sharp of East Jamestown, Tenn.; four half brothers, Sterling of Monroe, Jack of Kellogg, Champ of Grinnell, and Sherman of Jamestown, Tenn.; and two half sisters, Mrs. Ida Simpson of Parmleysville, Ky., and Mrs. Monnie Dowell of Council Bluffs.

The Johnson-Murdoch funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
