Also surviving are six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, three sisters and three brothers.
She was born May 12, 1906, in Greeley, a daughter of William and Liza Cornwell. She worked at New Process Laundry in Iowa City for 3 1/2 years and was also a homemaker. She married Arthur Toomer in 1922, in Delhi. Following his death she married Joseph Winans. She lived in Greeley, Monticello and Iowa City.
