BELLAMY Juanita C. Bellamy passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 and was welcomed into Heaven by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and has become one with all the Angels. Juanita was born in Glen Saint Mary, Florida in 1924. She came to Jacksonville at an early age and lived with her mother and sisters. Juanita and Bill were married in 1942 before Bills overseas service in the Pacific during World War II. After which they began their family with the birth of son, William, and thirteen months later with the birth of twins, Gary and Larry. She now joins her son, Larry who was lost in the Vietnam War on November 6, 1968. Juanita is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, her sons, William and Gary. She also leaves to grieve her loss, her sister, Ruby Bellamy, her grandchildren, Brad Bellamy of San Antonio, Texas, Lisa Bellamy Boobyer and Tony Bellamy of Panama City, Florida, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who loved and will miss her and many friends and neighbors who have supported Bill and Juanita during these difficult times. Juanitas husband and sons wish to convey to all the doctors, nurses, and caretakers on the third and fourth floor intensive care units of Baptist Hospital South for the tender care received during her many days and weeks there. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 6, 2012 with Vigil Prayers at 7:00 pm in Hardage-Giddens Hendricks Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 7, 2012 in Assumption Catholic Church where she was a lifelong member which is located at 2403 Atlantic Blvd. Jacksonville FL. 32207 with Father Fred Parke as Celebrant, followed by interment in Oaklawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home 4115 Hendricks Ave. Jacksonville, FL 32207. (904) 346-3808.
