Rhoda Lee Ellis died at Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia, Missouri at the age of 81-8-25 of peritinitis, cause undetermined. She also suffered senility, hypertension and myocarditis. She was the widow of John W. Ellis, whom she married Dec. 23, 1884 in Pettis county, Mo., at the time of her death. She lived at Longwood, Pettis, Missouri prior to being hospitalized with her final illness. J. B. Ellis, of Sedalia was the informant on her death record.
