FOREST HILL - Bertha Hudson, 75, a homemaker, died Thursday, May 8, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Monday at Shannon TCU Funeral Chapel. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Bertha Hudson was born Dec. 5, 1921, in Laurel County, Ky. She was totally dedicated to her family and church, touching thousands of hearts. She never turned anyone away. She dealt with an iron fist and a compassionate heart.
Survivors: Husband of 47 years, Raymond J. Hudson of Forest Hill; sons, William Hudson and Wendell Lewis, both of Fort Worth, and Boyd Lewis of Decatur; daughters, Norma Henry of Watauga, Bonnie Fagan of Fort Worth, Debbie Taylor of Haslet and Kathy Cook Davis of Decatur; brothers, Harold Cornet, Lee Cornet and Larkin Cornet Jr., all of Connersville, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
