Mr. Cox was born in Hemingway, a son of the late Jasper and Josephine Haselden Cox. He was the retired service manager for Don Fenters Chevrolet, a member of the Hemingway Pentecostal Holiness Church where he had served as a former deacon and Sunday school teacher. Mr. Cox was predeceased by his first wife, Mazielene Hughes Cox; son, Ronnie Cox; grandson, Ronnie Cox, Jr.
