He married Louise Nault 24 Jul., 1881 at Lowell, Massachusetts and had 13 known children. He married Celanise Sylvestre on 11 Dec., 1929 at the parish of Ste-Marcelline, Joliette Co., Quebec. Louis-Octavien died on 25 April, 1933 and was interred in the cemetery of the parish of Sainte-Melanie on 27 April, 1933.
