Born & baptized on 20 July, 1825 at Sainte-Elisabeth, Joliette County, Quebec, he was a son of Louis Robillard and Genevieve Riberdy. Jerome, an instituteur as well as a seigneurial agent, married Sophie Moussin dit Lajoie on 25 January, 1848 at the parish church of Saint-Melanie, he and Sophie had 10 known children.
He married Sophie Riberdy on 9 November, 1863 also at Ste-Melanie and they had 13 known children.
Forced to resign in January of 1884 as Seigneurial Agent of Ramsay and D'Aillebout because of illness, he then took a trip to Lowell to visit with his family for one last time. Sieur Jerome Robillard returned home on 16 Nov., 1884 and was interred "dans la cave de l'eglise de cette paroisse" on 19 Nov., 1884.
