Ada was the daughter of John and Mary (Krebs) Pexton. She was reared and educated in Nebraska. She moved to the Douglas area with her family in 1907.
She married Fred W. A. Hildebrand on September 23, 1916 at her parent's ranch home near Douglas. Ada and Fred lived on a ranch seven miles west of Orpha until 1937 at which time they moved to Douglas and resided there until the time of death.
Mrs. Hildebrand is survived by two sons, John and James Hildebrand of Douglas; one brother, Lisle Pexton, also of Douglas; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son Lyle, two brothers and one sister.
