Grady W. Dasher Prominent Farmer Died Last Thursday

Grady W. Dasher,62,prominent farmer and Glennville school bus driver for 23 years, died at his residence of a heart attack.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Zona Jones Dasher of Glennville; two daughters, Mrs. Barnie Baxter and Mrs. Billy Purcell, Glennville; two sisters, Mrs. F.F. Jordan, Reidsville, Mrs. Jake Jacobs, Sanford, Fla.; five brothers, Arthur, Dan, Walter, Curtis, and Thad Dasher, Glennville; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday at 3 p.m. at Love's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, conducted by Elder Harley Waters and Elder Cliff Stubbs. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers were nephews, Vernon, Clinton, Richard, Eugene and Gerald Dasher, and Billy Jordan.
Honorary pallbearers were the Glennville school bus drivers and Herder Baxter, Fred Purcell, Henry C. Kennedy, Curtis Cammack, Harry Sands, Billy Howard, Warren Branch, Reggie Collins and Simmie Griffin.

Rimes Mortuary of Glennville was in charge of arrangements.
