Mrs. Jessie Cooper, 84, Rt. 3, Elizabeth, died Saturday, November 14, in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, after a long illness.
Born at Elizabeth, October 25, 1886, she was a daughter of the late George and Annie Meredith Calhoun.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Irene Johnson, Grantsville; four sons, Rolla P. and Bernie Cooper, both of Parkersburg, Harold E. Cooper, Newark, O., and Ritchie E. Cooper, Rt. 3, Elizabeth; one brother, French E. Calhoun, of Parkersburg; 16 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Delbert John William Cooper, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services wre held Monday afternoon at the McCray Funeral Home, Elizabeth, with the Rev. Harry C. Foley of Parkersburg officiating. Burial was in the Elizabeth K. of P. Cemetery.
