Margaret Jane Nash was born about 1846. Here is a copy of her obituary which I obtained from family members some years ago:

OSAWATOMIE, KANS. --- Margaret Jane Nash, former Oswego resident, but who on account of a nervous breakdown was taken to the State Hospital at Osawatomie some time ago, died there on Sunday, January 6, at the age of seventy-seven years. The remains were brought to this city on Monday evening and placed in the undertaking parlors of the Stice Furniture Company.

The funeral service, in charge of Rev. F. F. Dobson, Pastor of the Presbyterian Church, was conducted at the cemetery, and a number of friends and relatives from here and elsewhere were in attendance. The deceased was a maiden lady, and located here in the early 1880s and until her health failed she maintained and cared for her home on West 4th Street.

Relatives here to attend the funeral were her niece Mrs. S. C. Steinberger and two daughters, of Webb City, Mo.; Mr. Clarence Neil, nephew, of Joplin, Mo.; Mr. Thomas Neil, nephew, of Miami, Okla.; Mrs. Anna Whitaker, niece, of Tulsa, Okla.; and Oscar Nash, brother, of Joplin.

Thank you,
Peggy
