Ida May Gunn Cameron was a victim of the Halifax Explosion. She was killed along with her two children. Her husband, William, survived.

She was the daughter George Cameron and Christina McLean.

Ida was married to William Owen Cameron.
The couple had two children:

Dorothy Mabel (Oct 1907-6 Dec 1917)
Gordon R. (Feb 1903-23 Feb 1918)

At the time of the explosion, the family lived at 17 Ross Street.

Ida and Dorothy were killed in their home. Gordon suffered severe injuries while at work. He died in February.

William was later married again to Annie Louise Wickwire.

The remains of the family were buried in Fairview Cemetery, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
