Albert Broeker Commits Suicide
Dies in Doctor's Office After Taking Poison at Wapello, Iowa

Wapello (IA) -- April 19. Albert Broeker, 22, committed suicide ... by drinking carbolic acid He was at Dr. Chittum's office at Wapello.
Broeker's home was in the Sharon vicinity, but recently he (acquired) employment in Wapello. He (...) poison while standing (....) of the home of Miss (....) with whom he had been (...) company. Ill health, following (...) an automobile accident, was given as a reason for his act.
The Morning Sun undertaker was called and the body was there there. Albert Broeker was the son of Wm. Broeker, highly respected farmer in the Sharon vicinity. He was a graduate from the Morning Sun high school with the clas of 1926. He had many friends throughout the vicinity. He is survived by his sister and brother Leora and (Orville or Wally, one was left out) at home, and Mrs. Clara [Stout] of Yarmouth.
Funeral services will be at the home Monday afternoon at [...] 2 o'clock.
