Ruby A. Carnahan, 98, of Caldwell, died Friday, March 31, 1995, in Caldwell. Private interment was at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 1995, at the Caldwell Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mrs. Carnahan was born May 25, 1896, at Arcadia, Nebraska, to Truman and Daisy Bennett, who were longtime residents of Caldwell. She married Clarence Carnahan in 1917 in Caldwell and after a brief residence in Canada, Portland and California, they spent the remainder of their lives in Caldwell. She worked twenty years in the school lunch programs in Caldwell Public Schools.
Mrs. Carnahan was an active member of the Caldwell Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Wilda Zumwalt of Caldwell; a son, Clarence Carnahan Jr. of Bend, OR; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
