Mrs. Albert Morken, 83, died at 4:45 am, today at Green Lea Manor, Mabel. She has been ill 3 1/2 years.

The former Anna Sophia Thoreson, was born in Black Hammer Township September 14, 1879 to Thorvald and Maria Lunde Thoreson. She was married to Albert Morken January 4, 1900. He died August 5, 1942.

She lived in the area most of her life with exception of three years in North Dakota.

Survivors include five sons, Eno G., Rushford, and Tilford, Clarence, Arnold and Edwin, Spring Grove; four daughters, Mrs. Grant (Alma) Ellingson and Mrs. Julius (Genora) Gulbrandson, Mrs. Peter (Edna) Hegge, and Mrs. Arnold (Irene) Rosaaen, Spring Grove; 30 Grandchildren; 29 Great Grandchildren; one brother, Magnus, Moorhead, Minn., and two sisters Mrs. Siri Erickson, Caledonia, and Mrs. Thora Olerud, Spring Grove, One Brother has died.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00p.m. Thursday at Black Hammer Lutheran Church, the Rev. Vernon B. Awes officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetary.

Friends may call at Engell Roble Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon and evening, Thursday morning and after 1 p.m. at the Church.
