L.A. BOLLINGER HELD TOWNSHIP POST 12 YEARS

Lawrence Bollinger, 73, former trustee of Superior township and local merchant, died Saturday morning after a lingering illness. Services were conducted this afternoon at 2 p.m., at the Thompson Funeral Home, Rev. D. Andrew Howey officiated and burial was made at Riverside.

Surviving are a daughter, Vera, Montpelier, one brother, Dale of Central City, Nebr. two nieces, Elizabeth Bollinger, Central City, and Cora Bollinger, Washington D.C.; a step-son Faye Ansbaugh; and two step-grandsons, Frank Hoffman of the U.S. Arms in Mississippi and William Hoffman of Montpelier.

mr. Bollinger operated the Bollinger and Keesbury Food Market, now the South End market, and was trustee from Superior township for 12 years.
