ELMORE BOLLINGER

Funeral services for Elmore Bollinger, 82 were held Friday afternoon in the Oberlin-Ford funeral home with burial in the Brown Cemetery. Mr. Bollinger, who resided on North Beech street north of the city hall, leaves two sons; Lawrence of Montpelier and Dale of Central City, Neb.

Elmore Bollinger was born in Richland County, O. Nov. 13, 1854 and died at his home in Bryan Dec. 30, 1936 at the age of 82 years, 1 mo. and 17 days. On July 4, 1873 he was united in marriage to Cordeliaa Betts of Williams county, who preceeded him in death almost four years ago. To this union were born 3 children, 2 sons and a daughter, the daughter died at the age of 13 years, two sons survive. Lawrence of Montpelier, and Dale of Central City, Neb. He also leaves 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He lived on a farm a few miles northwest of Bryan for about 25 years, after which they moved to Bryan where they lived for many years. He and his wife were members of the old Lick Creek church of Christ for several years and later transferred their membership to the Bryan church. mr. Bollinger was a good, honorable and upright citizen, a kind neighbor and father and a faithful servant of the Lord. Funeral services were held at the Oberlin-Ford funeral home, conducted by Rev. F.A. Shape of Butler, burial in Brown's cemetery. Rev. Shape was assisted in the service by Rev. pore of the local church.
