Born to Juan and Maria Antoñia Aguayo on June 9, 1923, Felix lived to be eighty-eight years old, living a long and happy life. He worked at Kaiser Steel Mine for thirty years and was an active missionary with the Valley Missionary at Our Lady of Soledad in Coachella.
Felix is survived through the hearts of his twelve daughters, Rosie Acosta, Martha Valdivia, Bertha Garcia, Antoñia Aguayo-Rodriguez, Irma Muñoz, Melinda Aguayo, Teresa Calderon, Barbara Aguayo, Rachel Aguayo, Yolanda Maciel, Amelia Aguayo, and Maribel Barnes; as well as Robert Calderon who was loved as his son; forty-four grandchildren, sixty-eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; as well as his sister, Francisca Aguayo from Sonora, Mexico. Felix will be greatly missed as he touched the hearts of many.
There will be a visitation held from 4:00-8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Our Lady of Soledad in Coachella. A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, also at Our Lady of Soledad, with burial following at the Coachella Valley Cemetery.
