Found Hanging From Tree.
John Peter, a Bohemian farmer living on the Wm. Green place near Shiner, suicided last Saturday by hanging himself from the limb of a tree.
This was his third attempt at suicide, once by taking arsenic and once by hanging. He was about 70 years old, and leaves a wife and several children.
Jan Peter, 1845 – 24 Jul 1908, was the husband of Anastasia Peter.
A very large crowd attended the burial. He leaves eight sons and two daughters. We extend heartfelt sympathy to the sorrowing children.
