Maurice H. Zimmerman, prominent farmer of near Mt. Airy, died Friday morning at 3 o'clock in his sleep, aged 63 years, 6 months and 11 days. He was a native of Frederick County and had been ill since February 14.

He was a son of the late Edward J. and Amanda S. Zimmerman and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Virginia [Carpenter], Brookville; a son, Maurice E. Zimmerman, at home; two grandchildren; three brothers, Samuel E., Feagaville; George M., Mt. Airy, and David E. near Libertytown, and a sister, Mrs. Ethel M. Walter, Gaithersburg.

Funeral services Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the funeral home in Winfield, conducted by Rev. Andrew F. Theisz, pastor of the Woodbine Lutheran church. Interment in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. C. M. Waltz, funeral director.
