Edward J. Zimmerman, a well-known farmer of Barnesville, Montgomery county, formerly of Frederick county, died on Wednesday afternoon at 4:25 o'clock, aged 67 years, 11 months and 16 days. He was stricken in his chair while reading his paper.
He leaves the following children: Hattie F.S., Howard D., Charles J., Maurice H., and David E. at home; and Mrs. G. Cloudsley Walters, of near Boyds; Mrs. W. O. Michael, near Lime Kiln; William D., near Mt. Zion; Samuel E. and George M. of the Manor. He leaves also the following sisters: Mrs. John Hargett, of Feagaville; Mrs. C. E. Derr, of near Frederick and Mrs. Virginia Stupp, of near Redland, Montgomery county.
His funeral will take place on Saturday morning with services at the house at 11 o'clock. Interment will be made at Beallsville, in the Monocacy cemetery at 12 o'clock.
