County, Kentucky. They moved to Indiana between 1835 and 1840. Angeline was
the mother of James P., Alfred S., Jemima Maranda, John Frank, William R., an
infant daughter and George Ann, a daughter that died 8 days after her mother at
age 14 days.
The inscription on the large shared stone for Angeline and George Ann reads,
"Beneath this tomb on the cold day, The darling of my bosom lays, Her spirit's
gone to Christ above, Where we will still unite in love"
