Lindsey B. Alsup Ellis County Farmer, Dies

Lindsey B. Alsup passed away at noon Sunday at the Waxahachie Sanitaruim. He was sixty-five years of age.

He was born on July 8, 1888 at Minor Hill, Tenn., and moved to Ellis County when he was nine years of age, and had lived since that time in the vicinity of Waxahachie. He was engaged in farming most all of his life.

Mr. Alsup was a member of the Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Lindsey B. Alsup of Midlothian; six sons, Homer Alsup of Ovilla, Hubert Alsup of Dallas, Floyd Alsup of Garland, Loyd Alsup of Houston, and L.B. Alsup Jr. and Harold Dean Alsup of Midlothian; a stepson, Loyd Miller of Midlothian; seven daughters, Mrs. Weldon Case of Fort Worth, Mrs. E.F. Proffitt and Miss Naomi Alsup of Dallas, and Miss Ruthie Faye Alsup, Miss Edna Mae Alsup, Miss Carol Jean Alsup and Miss Frances Marlene Alsup of Midlothian, four brothers, G.W. Alsup of Stanton, W.F. Alsup of Dallas, G.D. Alsup of New Mexico and O.W. Alsup of Henderson; two sisters, Mrs. H.P. Miles of New Mexico and Mrs. D.B. Magee of Denison; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
