DEATH OF MRS. CARROLL

Mrs. Margaret Carroll died at her home, 667 South Mill street, at 2:30 o'clock this morning from uremic convulsions.

Funeral services will be conducted in St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 o'clock Friday morning by Rev. Father McSweeney.

Interment will be in Red Butte cemetery under direction of Mr. McCown.

Mrs. Margaret Carroll was born in Locustdale, Pennsylvania, November 3, 1871. She came to Aspen from Illinois in September 1885 and was married to Mr. Carroll in this city in 1889. From that time until a few years ago she made her home on the Carroll ranch on Brush creek.

She is survived by five children, Mrs. Walter Sioss, Miss Bessie Carroll, Edward and Bernard Carroll of this city, and Mrs. Margaret Heiusuis of Glendale, California; four step-children, Mrs. Martha Daley and Mrs. Nellie Reeves of Wyoming and James and Milo Carroll of Aspen; two sisters, Mrs. L. T. Wood of this city and Mrs. Charles Rice of Raleigh, South Carolina; and a brother, Ed. Erskine of Nathrop, Colorado.

Mrs. Carroll was a most estimable lady and enjoyed a large circle of devoted friends who will be shocked to learn of her sudden death, as yesterday morning she appeared in good health, attended church services, and was not stricken with the illness which proved fatal until yesterday afternoon.

The community will join with the sorrowing friends in extending heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
