Mr. Mack Cleveland Gordon was a farmer all of his life except for a few years he worked for the City of Statesboro. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and watching his children mature. The Bulloch County Senior program was instrumental in keeping him active and gave him great pleasure and enjoyment. He was a member of Summerhill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon faithfully until his health failed.
He leaves to cherish fond memories two daughters, Mrs. Ernestine Williams of Statesboro and Ms. Maxie Jedida Gordon of Augusta, Ga.; grandchildren, Priscilla McClain, McArthur Gordon and Songi R. Burgess; one special goddaughter, Miss Kelli R. Clifton and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Summerhill Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Herrington, Eulogist and the Rev. Marc Williams Pastor/Presiding. Interment will be in Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church Cemetery Hwy 24 East, Statesboro, Ga.
