Vincent Boutilier was a victim of the Halifax Explosion. He was killed along with his parents, baby brother, two grandmothers and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was the son of Carroll Boutilier and Mary Elizabeth MacDonald.

Through his mother he was a member of one of the largest Halifax families, the Jackson family.
It is believed this family suffered the worse losses, with forty-eight of their sixty-six members dying in the disaster.

At the time of the explosion, the family lived with Mary's parents and siblings at 1498 Barrington Street.

Barrington Street was one of the hardest hit places.

The remains of Vincent were never found. The remains of the rest of his family were found and buried in Mount Olivet.
