Teasley of Martinez, son of the late Hercules and Lessie Ivey Teasley. Surviving family members include his son: Tracy Stephens Teasley Jr. of Grovetown; daughter: Stephanie Teasley ( Paul) Eicher of Lincolnton,Ga; grandchildren: Tracy S. Teasley III, Tanner Spencer Eicher; brothers: Donald L. (Phyllis) Teasley, John A. (Judy) Teasley II . Mr. Teasley was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta and married to Jane for 43 years. He was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. He served in the National Guard during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged in 1959. He had been a licensed real estate agent since 1959 and was the owner of Tracy S. Teasley Real Estate and Insurance Company from 1963 to 1995. He was a member of the Augusta Board of Realtors. He was an active member of Woodlawn United Methodist Churchand Chairman of the Administrative Board Council. He was a member of the Turner - England Fellowship Class, head usher, head greeter, president of the Methodist Men's Club and was a certified lay speaker. As a former member of Mize Memorial United Methodist Church, he had been the Chairman of the Finance Committee. He was a past member of the Richmond County Republican Party and a past president and member of the Augusta Jaycees. He was a loving husband, daddy and papa who loved his God and church; he will be missed daily. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 24 at 11:00 A.M. at Woodlawn United Methodist Church with Rev. C.W. Edwards and Mary Kollarik officiating. Burial at Westover Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 Tuesday Night at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be David Usry, David Whitfield, Matt Griffin, C.L. Johnson, Troy Ward, Danny Eicher. Honorary Pallbearers are the Turner-England Fellowship Class.
