Realtor AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Sunday May 21, 2006, at Portbridge Hospice, Mr. Tracy Stephens Teasley, husband of Jane R. Teasley of Martinez, son of the late Hercules and Lessie Ivey Teasley. Surviving family members include his son: Tracy Stephens Teasley Jr. of Grovetown; daughter: Stephanie Teasley ( Paul) Eicher of Lincolnton,Ga; grandchildren: Tracy S. Teasley III, Tanner Spencer Eicher; brothers: Donald L. (Phyllis) Teasley, John A. (Judy) Teasley II . Mr. Teasley was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta and married to Jane for 43 years. He was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. He served in the National Guard during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged in 1959. He had been a licensed real estate agent since 1959 and was the owner of Tracy S. Teasley Real Estate and Insurance Company from 1963 to 1995. He was a member of the Augusta Board of Realtors. He was an active member of Woodlawn United Methodist Churchand Chairman of the Administrative Board Council. He was a member of the Turner - England Fellowship Class, head usher, head greeter, president of the Methodist Men's Club and was a certified lay speaker. As a former member of Mize Memorial United Methodist Church, he had been the Chairman of the Finance Committee. He was a past member of the Richmond County Republican Party and a past president and member of the Augusta Jaycees. He was a loving husband, daddy and papa who loved his God and church; he will be missed daily. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 24 at 11:00 A.M. at Woodlawn United Methodist Church with Rev. C.W. Edwards and Mary Kollarik officiating. Burial at Westover Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 Tuesday Night at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be David Usry, David Whitfield, Matt Griffin, C.L. Johnson, Troy Ward, Danny Eicher. Honorary Pallbearers are the Turner-England Fellowship Class.
